Transition nearly over and ….. the sheep arrive!

So, where were we…….. oh yes busy!

We have just had an action packed weekend leaving to go up to Derbyshire on Saturday morning for a bit of a sheep session with Jo and Veronica, the lovely ladies we were buying our Rylands from.

So what does a sheep session involve ?  …… pedicure, worming, innoculating v blue tongue and clostridial diseases, and putting something on to reduce the risk of fly strike. All in all a sweaty, slightly stinky afternoon, but good fun and great for our confidence.

So today we loaded the trooper with more boxes and a slightly fed up Benson and collected our flock.

3 Ryland ewes, their 6 lambs and Kermot the Ryland Ram.

Here are lots  of pictures of them.

Arrival

not quite yet weaned.

Be ewe tiful

Rylands are just so lovely and squeezy!

One very tame ram and 2 seemingly tame children!
